• Suede is the underside of leather, sanded to give it a soft and smooth feel. It comes from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and is tanned in Brazil without harmful or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses dyes that meet regulations and prioritizes responsible water use during the tanning process. This suede is then coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils to shield the sneakers from light rain.

The use of a washing machine is strictly discouraged to avoid altering the properties of the different materials.

- Waterproof your shoes with a product suitable for the material. Repeat this process every 3 to 6 months.

- Maintain nubuck/suede leather by brushing and dry cleaning. Finish by applying a suitable hydrating and renovating product.

- Let dry in the open air, away from heat sources (sun or radiator), to prevent discoloration.
